Good!

It´s very catchy.
I liked the different knife sounds or something like that... they added flavour into the tune.

The basic melody was great, and it sounds like a party or something. I don´t know why the title was called Apocalypse on the Horizon, it owns, but it doesn´t fit the actual track.

The track is more like a driving track at a speedway. Not anything slow and electronic like that title would fit.

I suggest you to have it a bit more fitting the theme. It´s mainly thrown out in different kind of music, so it sounds very random.

Oh, and happy first gold track!

Excellent! W00T thanks again SBB

Good work!

You proved you can work with all styles with this tune. Electronica, Rock and Classical (I´d say, acoustic).

The melody was catchy, and I enjoyed listening to the tune, but it was maybe pretty empty, but it was added on near the end.

I see it´s used in a flash... Oh, I wich I could do something like that. I think having your music used in a submission gives you a major boost in fame.

I liked it a lot! Simple and classical might sound totally different from my tastes, but yes.

Stealth-Emergence responds:

Cool yeah my tastes are so eclectic, and I love to try different things all the time, so my music kind of reflects that I have so many influences from almost all genres!

Thanks again SBB

uhm yeah?

This sounds just as if it had been made by DJRaveR (Go chack his work out), empty, with a low drum, and some eother instruments occosionaly thrown in, and don´t forget the praised sound effects. (I have been considering sampling my little sister´s crying for a beatbox song by the way)

I lovved the bassline man. It makes the song going even when the bass is the only thing going. You had quite a lot of diversity in this compared to the song´s impression.

I see you might have worked on this for a very long time, but I don´t think the result did give as mch as you gave this song, sorry.

Originality gets a 5, this sounds really familiar.

Clarity gets a 8 because it´s enough, but not more than needed.

Diversity is a 6, not much.

Effort is a 8, you have worked on this, but...

Overall is a 6. Sorry, I didn´t like it.

Stealth-Emergence responds:

Yeah I love the bass line in this piece, I didn't spend a long time on this one, I did this one after Secrets and Lies. I was pretty much just playing around in FL just to see what I could do with it

Thanks again SBB

Ahh

Like a total christmas song. I got so totally into the christmas mood of this.
The bells, he winter feeling, the shakers, (whatever they are called in english) and especially the melody.

Well, the melody was really not great, it´s very bland and I doubt you put much thought into it.

As I can see some of the melodies which you were too lazy to lay again and just looped, they were off beat and not pleasant at all to listen to.

I don´t know about thisd tune. There is so much which could have been improved, and there is so much that you could have done to make it better, still it´s actually a very good song.

So, I must this time take it as an averaqe of the minor scores.

Originality is a 7 because it sounds very much like other christmas songs, but still it had much originality.

Clarity is a 6 because it wasn´t mastered well and many tracks were far too loud while others were low.

Diversity is a 7, not too much of that here.

Effort is a 7. This needs more work.

The average is 6.67, which means the overall must be 7.

Stealth-Emergence responds:

Yeah you're right SBB I didn't spend a lot of time on this piece, it was rushed a lot on my part. and I so should have spent more time on it, there are so many improvements I could have made, but didn't :(

I've learned since doing this, that I shouldn't ruch my work, and I haven't

Thanks SBB

(BLOODY HELL YOU REPLY FAST TO YOUR REVIEWS)
Eh, too bad I´m not the fastest when it comes to writing reviews, so be patient, I won´t stop before all are reviewed : D

Oh, this is so relaxing, I want to just leave the keyboard I am currently writing on and just take a nap while listening to this.

So this is a remix? Hmm... It sounds like something really original because there was no real melody in it, and the way it is played sounds too weird and in-buildt for a remix.

I have heard tunes like these before. I might not have heared this kind of choir, but the kind of singing they sung, I until now thought was unique for Roger Hodgson after his Supertramp era.
In some parts of a lot of his songs later in his career, he sung in this way for an unique effect. (And no he´s not an angel or anything like that XD)

The background was kinda great, some well mixed synths except for the small cymbals which were set very loud compared to their perfect setting, and could either be much lower or eventually turned off.

Originality gets an 8, that´s fair enough.

Clarity gets a 7, many synths and nstruments weren´t great

Diversity gets a 9, it´s a lot!

Effort... 10, do I need to say more, really?

Overall should be 9. Great work stealth.

Stealth-Emergence responds:

Sweet, yeah well this wasn't really a remix. I mean I worked with Heather-Lanham. she has an amazing voice. she uploads vocal only tracks to NG and I found them one time and asked her if she'd be willing to let me put some music to her amazing vocals. she said yes and here is the result.

I did all the music so I guess it isn't really a remix as all I started with, was an a capella.

Thanks for another review SBB oh and the reason I can reply so fast is that I'm stalking you! mwuahahahah

A good one

You must spend ages on your songs because this had an in-deptht way of making, I can read it within the song if you understand :) At least I can "read" how many songs were done except for hose damn complex ones though >-(They´ll get a none-eye smiley cuz they deserve it;)

Lol, you actually added DJ sounds, huh?
Kinda cool but it doesn´t fit the feeling of the song (A relaxed, dark tune which could probably have found place in the empty streets at a night, slowly walking along the road, seeing the nature around you and other people, animals and natural environement)

The drums were kinda obscure and sounds more like people throwing metal objects into each other to make a strange sound...

Originality gets a 7, I´ve heard songs liek this from YOU, but not anybody else.

Clarity gets a 8 because the levels didn´t really fit all the way

Diversity gets a 8, good work.

Effort gets a 10, since this have taken a lot of time.

Overall gets a 10, because the overall opinion is "fantastic" and "Awesome" and "Superior" and "Supreme".

Stealth-Emergence responds:

Yay SBB likes it! :) well those DJ sounds kind of came by mistake. It went through a lot of changes. and i made one change which gave that percussional aspect. I decided to keep it.

Yeah I do seem to do tunes to this nature, I have fun making them too, and I do spend quite a while doing them!

Thanks for another glowing review SBB

Whoa

This was... maybe... way, WAY poorer than the long one.
Let´s see. I can only find stuff that is negative compared to it... say.. Ends totally abrupt, doesn´t loop particulary well, nearly zero diversity, way too loud, yeah, there are lots.

I see that this is the short version, (More like, nano version, 7 seconds is not a lot! And the other one could be "Really short", s you could make a full one with at least 2 minutes...)

Ok, it´s so damn fast-paced that I don´t get anything.
But I guess the opinion from TehAntiChrist is the most important (Seems like I wrote that fucking huge review for nothing <:) so yeah next.

Stealth-Emergence responds:

11 seconds ;) lol yeah the guy that wanted it, only wanted about 10 seconds worth. so here it is :)

Thanks SBB

Peace Out!

Some nice shit

This is your first FL track? Damn. It´s great!

Ok. The drums were the main thing in this song, though it had other elements, the drums were the loudest and most concentrated in the song. They were repetative, but still they had something I´ve not seen in any other song.

There are many synths here which are totally unknown for me, so this sounds like something really stange.
Actually, I´ve heard somthing that in the melodic case sounds pretty the same. It´s the Sims 2 theme, the damn annoyiing Sims 2 theme. There was once in the song you had a little solo which sounded pretty like that.

The structure is great, it goes from a rather quick beginning, an empty one too, and it builds up to release a slower part within the different-speeded main song. I believe you maybe were lucky with this fascinating combination since this structure must be hard to decide.

Originality gets a 9 because it was totally different from anything else except for that little Simsy solo in the middle.

Clarity gets a 10 because it was perfect.

Diversity gets an 8 because there was a fair amount of it in the song, but it´s not either outstanding. However the structure was really great, so plus on diversity for that.

Effort gets a 8 because this seems like more than average work.

Overall gets a 9 because I´m nice.

Stealth-Emergence responds:

W00t Yay thanks SBB i was wondering when you would appear ;)

Thanks dude!

Peace Out!

Goo

So music wasn´t fun when you started? Well, gongrats on having it fun, then. Really. Hmmm.... I think it was a bit too loud in the beginning, and the nit turned out that it was me who had to turn the volume down! XD Shame on me.

Okay the shakers were a nice addition, too bad the yadded narly nothing to the song. Don´t keep the drums for later songs, they should be use here and now!
Boom tchik-cka boom bang prr-tz drr!

I don´t know, it´s not a too long song, neither is it very filled, I think you could have another synth instead of that synth you provided in the beginning, like a whatever, really, that is not so sharp. I´d prefer a synth lead in it. Or maybe a trancelead? Even a flute would work.

It doesn´t loop particulary well, it seems like it´s supposed to, but it just turns out being kinda cheesy.

You have a low self-esteem when it comes to music, eh?
Actually you´re not that bad. You seem to have talent, but just need some more skill, and you´re gonna be one great artist, really.

DeathRazor responds:

What can i say? 9_9 Thanks for the long review man! I do have a low self-esteem bout music, and well, i get that when i press audio protal, listening to Paragon's music =_= Ill try and follow you advice, im still only learning ^^

Grr

Awesome beginning, it´s really like a gone wild computer, boasting around with it´s 1337 computing powers!

(BZZ 1 R UR N00 L34D3R 4ND W1LL C4US3 U D3TH)

GRR... I Weish I could make awesome tracks like these myself, you´re so damn good. The organ was maybe a bit too modulated and weirdly drawn out, though, and the shriek was just natural, but it didn´t really fit in the track

It was meant to be computeric, wasn´t it? So why did you add a shriek?
Well, goosh, it was really well put in, so that it doesn´t get in like a random place.

Lawl. Good work.

(Now you better review MY latest dark track (tha brackenwood one ) or SBB gunna get crazy again)

Stealth-Emergence responds:

1 d0n7 und3r57and 1337 5p34k mostly anyway :P

ahh the shriek well I wanted a scream and I felt the piece was worthy of having one, the organ I decided I wanted to glitch it up a bit so I did! I was trying out some techniques that I want to try and refine

it wasn't meant to be computeric (as you put it) I just made those sound effects and thought they added a kind of darkness to the piece!

Thanks for your review SBB I will review your piece shortly, I gotta shoot for a bit, I'll be back and I'll review it when I'm back!

Peace Out Man!
