I LOVE YOU!

This is one of the best tracks I've heard in the Audio Portal so far.

You used the Juicer, right? I love that synth. It makes the track so much more calm and warm. This gave me a warm feeling inside.

The rythmic synth you have in even gave it an industrial feeling, I loved the way you played it, sounds so hell of a lot better with it.

The cave effect is there, but I don't think it would be a crystal cave though.

The beat is good, doesn't need to be more diverse as it is just there to fill up space.

Great song man! I loved it SO MUCH. You have inspired me.

caffeinerush responds:

Haha, Big thanks man. I don't know if it sounds like I emulated Fruity Loop's juicer, but in fact I used Reason. Thanks for the review.

Kra

Indeed dark. Loved the meldy of it... reminds me of some of my older stuff.

Great beat, it's really a very well done song. The bass was good too.

There's nothing wrong in this.

preffertobedead responds:

Cool SBB im really pleased to have a review of such artist..u keep up ur good work too ;)..anyway this is an old song of mine...=)

Thanks for the review..seems like ppl doesn't review very much lately..

Madness?

I could see this being used in a madness movie! this music is great for this kind of movie!

The melody is... excellent... just some of the best melody I've ever heeard, lke I told in the last review some are simply just results of luck, and this melody is great! Gongrats!

I don't feel like making these huge reviews as much as I did... still I will try making a biggie for your sake.

The electronic effects in this one are great, they could have been used even more for a better effect of the track.

I don't think should have used the crazy helium voices, since they aren't sounding good, and they make the song a lot more amateurish.

In the start with the industrial part isn't bad, but it is not the best start for this song. It's just me.

Critical-Collision responds:

Thank You SBB

melodies aren't a result of luck, they're all under the control of the artist at all times.

the melodies we make, we are very careful about at all times, it could just be the case that the melodies aren't what you are familiar with, possibly bot to your taste, but it's just down to luck, whether the listener likes it or not.

Thank you SBB

...and here I am!

I happen to be ridicolously late with returning reviews, it's just the fact that I rarely am in the mood to review, but when I do I'm very good at it >:S

the beginning wasn't as good as I hoped. The synth that is there is more sick (literally) than it sounds good. You could use to have a totally different instead of it. It has just a bit too much disortion-like stuff...

The drums fit the theme, I like them, I don't know why ap didn't think so... they sound really good.

I have no idea what most instruments are so I will go and call this instrument a picking-like thing.
Sounds good, but it didn't need all that pitching in the end of every note.

The flute in the background could have been made sounding more like a real flute and set up a bit.

I liked the strings, it could have been set even higher up.

It's more like the bad instruments are louder and the good ones are too low... I don't know why.

The melody iis kinda anonymous... sounds like a normal desert melody... but it wasn't any spectacular melody of any kind, it's as good as it could be (since the really good melodies are usually found by luck...

Gee.

Critical-Collision responds:

Thank you SBB, late, well we were late in reviewing yours too.

Thank you for reviewing, we appreciate it

wtf'

Were you using one of Khuskan's tracks in this one? Sounds like so.

And then when it just kicks in with a huge " KHUSKAN. I AM YA MUTHA." I gt scared as hell, now I'm gonna have nightmares the next few nights. fuzxz0rrz.

The way you just put in a crazy ass synth was sick, I loved it. It makes it a lot more scary too.

How is that I download all your songs? But it was kinda funny how the equalizer-like thing in iTunes had such a complex and symmetrica pattern. Oh, lolz.

I loved the voice, sounds just creepy and awesome.

I liked the way you put Yoshi's surprise in it, made the track sound a lot more funny.

...

How come I am Khuskan's son?

Rucklo responds:

mwhahahahhah MWAHAHAHHAHA

yes the song in hte intro is Khuskan´s "Jazz Hands".

You will have more than nightmares, oh you better belive it... >:(

Sorry man...

I love the track you remixed ^_^
It sounds too midish though. You should have changed a lot in this track and actually have made it a remix instead of just a replica.

And yes, the clarity is horrible. Why didn't you master it a lot more? If you know there is a single bad thing with it you should remove it and then submit instead of just thinking "Nah, that's not so important." and submit it away. And if you don't know how to master it then you're obviously stealing.

The instruments are lacking sense. I don't know why you choosed these horrible instruments to it, especially when they're this shimmering and peaking.

You know, at times remix reviews are a bit limited as you can't review the melody since it isn't original. Therefore there is a lack of good sides in this review, this is clearly not the best song out there, and it's not the worst either.

The main problem is the mastering. fix it.

Mataro responds:

I agree completely, but in all honesty.. I went through 3 songs before arriving at this one. And I was in a rush to get it out around Halloween. I really hadn't tried much with mastering until after this song, which is when I realized... "ZOMG if I turn the project volume a tad.. The peaking dissappears! :O", so, I'll probably re-release this song, at some point. Because I love the original, and I think I could have done better with it. (The size cap didn't help either :S) Many thanks as always SBB!

Imma goin weirdo

Haha, this sounds totally different from the other, at least it's not that repeatative. You could have kept the mood though, it would give more intergration into the tracks.

And this does sound like Tetris. A bit much too.... lawl.

But if it's a remix it's really a good one.

This sounds more like a folk dance soundtrack than anything else. therefore the ood from the first is totally lost, except for some scary FX in it.

Mataro responds:

Folk... Dance..? Well I have failed miserably it seems! I actually had a ton of fun with this track, and after reviewing it a short while ago, i realized I could have done alot better, the effects needed some fine-tuning, reverb would have helped.. (This was before I knew about effects... And automation... -.-') But I'm happy with it nonetheless, I'm gald you enjoyed it! :D

wut

I like series. And my review giveback seem to sometimes be awfully delayed, but then SUDDENLY I give some back just because I'm in the mood for it.

I loved this track. it had a good combination of classical and ambient in it. The piano was great, the melody was steadily but still emotionally moving forwards.

The lead you put in sounds nothing else than horrible, you should have replaced it with something much softer. The stuff playing at the same time sounds great, and should have been prioritated higher than the rest of that part.

The beat is good, but there could be need for a bit more different beats than just this one. Though the song is not mainly based on that.

A tad repeatative, it could need to actually go somewhere instead of constantly having it at the same instruments.
Which could have been done easily by simply having more beats.

I'll check out and review the others in this too.
(PLZZZ review my latest PLZZZZZZZ ^_^)

Mataro responds:

I'll check back to your page, no doubt! And I also agree full-heartedly that this is neat, but it does need some more diversity. Funny, MaestroSorrow lurved the cello, and you hate it. :S

*Makes a mental note "release two versions of songs with iffy instruments :O"*

A bit strange

This version is really trippy, and much more catchy than the previous, but there wasn't much alike to the other! I can't see what the *oxygene* thing is though.

A good track in a technifid verison. In this I think you should have a bit louder drums.

Oooops I have to go real fast now, sorreeeeeeeeeeh

C3NTAURI0N responds:

Ahh, the oxygene theme is the melody and sounds!
thanks anyway

Luvabl

This track is actually really good. I like how it builds up through the song, how you added more and more, good for that sake that there are different melodies and beats in it through the time. Quite a problem for me.

I loved the different synths, they sound really good to each other, and make a neat final impresison of the track.

The main lead seems a bit sick though, it should have been a lot cleaner and much more blend-in.

The pad was good, made the end good, a little bit monotone for me though, it could use some more delay and reverb, which would have done it a lot better!

This is a good track, but remember to make all the synths and instruments sound good for itself and not just to each other.

C3NTAURI0N responds:

Thabks for the feedback and the tips. Glad you enjoyed it!
