Whoa...

I hope this is not a submittion, because you are the admin of this, and can decide this right away.. but since you say Exhibition Piece, I think I`m fine with reviewing it.
Well yea sure it`s frantic. And sure it`s perfect. Or did you make the song fitting this remix.. seems like.
I loved this, and I think those who want to participate in the contest will either get really inspirated or hopeless.
Oh well.
(I`m such a fanatic :)

HouseMasta responds:

thanks!

Nice track!

This was awesome, you know it yourself.
Hell of an intro, leads out into a nice ambient sounds collection.
And the following 8-bits were really cool. You have a really good melody. the song is a bit repetative. You could have added more, but you really don`t need to. the 8-bitser is very crushed at times, making it sound horrible. You could choose another instrument instead of it, or pick up a sound cleaner effect to clean the noise out with.

1812 responds:

Thanks for the review, and thanks for the tip... Sound cleaner you say??
Glad you liked it :)

Gooch sez

Whoa, here, I see a lot of needs in improvement.

First off, this song was way to slow. You should either play it in the real tempo, or highen the bmp so that it fits.

Also, make sure you play it proper. You just played it straight forward, you must have some breaks! Just see, here is the beat of the first line in the SMB theme separated by commas.
- - -, -- -, -.
You played it like;
- - - --- -.
You may not understand, but you really should.

Also, don`t just play the song! Make variations! A single piano is boring in the first place, but when you just play it halfway decent, it`s no good!

Add instruments! It can be synths, it can be drums, it can be flutes, it can be guitar, it can be whatever! Just make sure the song isn`t really boring!

And only submit it if you would enjoy listening to it KE.

Is that clearer than water??? (lol)

Pyroific responds:

well thanks for the review would you like to help me? cause im trying to get as much help as i can =)

250! YAY!

It`s my 250th review bitch, so I had to assign it to someone I`m sure would respond!
I won`t remix it, sorry, it`s not my style at all, but it`d be fairly easy... It`s very short, but it`s really trippy in that while.
And the melody... it`s really good, I can`t seem to get enough of it either... damn.
So well, I haven`t really any suggestions for improvement on this, maybe make some better drum beats, as it`s fairly empty with just a bass trice in a second and some kind of gong...
But anyways, I`m just brambling to fill up with improvements, which are not really needed, it`s great! I`ll fifen it.

DJRaveR responds:

I RESPONDED... 250th, I don't count :P. Well it great that you have been at it so long. To bad, I might have to do it myself, seems I'm better now, I'll be ready for your critsium (your harsh). This melody is like satisfaction, except its got a different tune, so its awesome. So if you get addict to either one, just switch back :P. I'm gunna IMPROVE, but not for you.

So why

So why did you submit it under ambent when it`s really Classical?
Gee, whatever, it`s a good melody, and it seems really like you`ve made this in one track, and if you did then *worship*.
So yeah. I suggest you adding more background effects, as it`S pretty dry and dull with just the piano. And that`s pretty much it. Good work.

Injected-Reality responds:

i ment to put it in hip hop XD Jk thx

Whats up

NG has a crappy loop system, makes things loop waaayyy worse than they really are.
But anyways, the drums here are so fucking awesome compared to the possible, and everything else is teh awesomeness, so what can I say

HouseMasta responds:

wow, thanks a lot for reviewing my loop!

Yes, it`s nice, but...

... could I please eat cake while listening to it instead? Or a roffle? In a pimp party? Because that would fit best. I eat cake more than pie because I think they taste better! ^_^
Anyways, this song was some creepy yay, No need to improve it...

ListenToMyMusic responds:

You can eat whatever you want while listening to this. Thanks very much for this review, I shall check yours out later, right now I have to go.

Good Bye, Eat Cake,
ListenToMyMusic

Hmm...

Sounds like you cranked out something at the morning... It sounds more like some blending of some different melodies than a song.
Well, It got quite trippy anyways. The main instrument, whatever it is, could have been calmed down quite a lot, since it nearly destroys the song, if it was louder, it would.
It`S damn hard keeping up reviewing your stuff when you have such a shitload to upload....

DJRaveR responds:

yeah, sorry about the uploading, had some "days off", so all I was doing was making tracks. Trippy is a good thing, and the melody that you thought was loud was supposed to be loud cause it was the bg and the melody, which didn't work very well :P.

It`s a bit alow...

Yup, totally alow.
The sharp, edged high-pitched synth could be annoying to listen to, but it gets trippy after a while. I like the different melodies and stuff, it really is one great track.

DJRaveR responds:

lol, I meant to say slow... how dare you mock me. lol

Glad you liked it, I thought it was one of my good ones, I'll keep making more stuff like this then :P.

Lol

That was too some strange thing, this time it`s 8-bit.
All of the synths were totally different, which added a flavour into the song. The piano was really not fit for the song, but whatever.
Hmmm...

DJRaveR responds:

Yeah, the piano didn't mix real well into it, I was going to call it The Invasion of the Telemarketers, but I thought that was racist :P. I added the piano in to make it strong.

I haven't been making any tracks lately, but I might make more soon, probably in a week or so.

welcome to bluegrounds :))
