Bleh the drum patterns don't sound all too good- sloppy rhytm, kick is hardly audible and stuff...

Very random sound too...

But come on, I'm SURE you can do some improvments on this one man :D

the litle saw synth sliding around is so great, made the track great too. Cool jazzbassrig and stuff too :)

Piano sounds very thin and flat, but that can be fixed with some reverb n stuff, can't it? :D

I love it when people make these kinds of tunes- not that the results sound good, but that it's so innovative and original sounding. Like here, a lot of fx that perfectly fits, and a guitar with a melody that DOES sound random, but it sounds like there's a link between it all upon listening to it a few time.

Nicely done. Ya get my thumbs up.

Thanks a lot! I tried to incorporate a sense of nostaliga into this piece. In my opinion, it's my most beautiful piece recorded to date, but there are still others I need to work on... Glad to see there are a few open-minded people on this website.

Fun fact: The droning noise in the background is actually a manipulated guitar.

Anyways, this is a pretty neat little piece. Where cool hat rhytms and rolls. Cool wobbling bass pad.
Ugh, again a very horrible claw (yeah, piano) melody- you might want to train a bit on those piano melodies :P

Apart from that it's a decent track, good luck in the contest my love

That noisy pad turns out mighty annoying at that "s" frequency you keep it at, maybe you should try using a de-esser if ya know how to make one- meh about that, cool noise rhytm, loving the way you flanged it

takes a while for it to develop much, it pretty much keeps resting on the same level for the most- oh god those fxes are so awesomeeeeeeee

drums work perfectly fine, reverb'd do it awesomenesser

ugh what an ugly square lead, get a softer one

And yerr, reverb does make everything sound better. And I knew you'd like them deep space effects.

mighty soothin'

bah the only thing that I don't like with these ones is your use of thin sawtoothpaste synths, makes it sound less professional and more... you know, fl preset-ish :P

but apart from that this track is mighty soothin' and groovy if you want it to be that. Awesome drums and cool fxs. Nice paddage

bit dragged out maybeh, ya know it's repetitive as hell- if ya gonna make it long, at least make it somewhat diversed throughout the whole thang

yeah well them trancy synths don't really fit into the dnby picture, makes it a lot more happy styled esque than it should you know that stuff ya

Yeah, I've been working on finding a strictly DnB sound for the competition, and I've got a song in the works with a better DnB drum sample and plenty of bass.

bargh that felt a bit random for my taste really I'd really love to hear bit more structure and such instead of that many random sounds and melodies- and it yer goin' into the lots of sounds no hierarchy thing at least do it somewhat structured lol

but well I don't know. Just didn't like it too much.

i think i'll always disagree with the "random" comments simply its never random to me, you know? but i'll work on making stuff easier to get into for people who aren't me, 'cos I guess no one else is in my head here with me. i do think there was definite structure, though, with a verse-chorus-change thing going on, and I guess the extra noise (like the two guitars and bass guitar) was just something I liked in there for the overall sound and because its always nice to hear different things every time you listen.

still, it is nice to have input, so thanks for the review.

i'll try to review something of yours once i get off this zycam-clariton-coughmedicine induced coma. so, probably tomorrow, hopefully.
