sure thing but well

Some of these synths have a damn nice, crispy sound, like the strangely lfo'd scratchy industrial synth and the acidish bass. A lot of random sounds and melodies and weird changes though, which is about the only thing I can critisize here. And the middle part sounds pretty empty.... probably because the lack of a small reverb. The last part has some badass bass. Pretty good

Hey

I'm kinda awaiting some incredibly awesome stuff now that I see that description. I hope you turn it into that. Interesting pads and synths, they're so reverbed that they kinda mess up in the 1:30's. But apart from that it's a pretty interesting and enjoyable song, good work!

Wellsh

Too bad most of it is off tune... and the synths or guitars sound just horrible... You could really use some better instruments instead of a hard synth and a guitar. And please don't use that kick so much... you're hurting brain mass. Ahh at least it loops perfectly

BlkAce responds:

yeah..I'll try getting better instruments..
btw i didn't use any kicks..that was all drums lol
but thanks for your review

lovely

The guitar mixes perfectly with the flute. The pitch bend on the flute sounds unnatural though, which isn't too much of a good idea. Strings could have been long chords, but I guess that's just your choice. Piano sounds a bit plain and that's about it for the negatives. The drums work later on is excellent, especially those hats. The kick is a bit too reverbed for its own good.

fucking awesome stuff

Real nice, you know that

I'm loving this tune. It's a more happy, and less dramatic tune than you use to submit. Which is awesome to hear because you really know how to do them happy tunes. There's some things though, and that's the voices and choirs you use here. I can't really say a huge n heavy stunning choir and some opara singer does fit a happy, lighter tune like this.

The melodies dance around pretty darn nicely, and they all seem to fit each other perfectly. Real nice, you know that.

MaestroRage responds:

I didn't think the choirs were heavy, they're quite laid back, but I suppose the opera voice DID cross the line huh? I kinda liked it to be honest, I have this OCD problem where if I don't use bells in a song, there's a very good chance I have to plug in a choir, or I can't sleep at night.

It's true D:!

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

yep

I don't care about if it was a joke or not, but I love the sound of it. The only problem I have with this tune is the diversity, I was really excepting this to evolve and the kicks getting more present in some kind of climax. And I expected it to evolve a little... it never goes anywhere and is pretty much the same pad and kicks playing the same chords over and over. Cool idea though

coolio

The stuff in the very start messes up the track pretty much as it covers about all the frequencies, making it sound like someone put a bag over my head. Which makes it sound awful when even more stuff is added. Good thing that noise isn't there all the time.

A lot of nice and original drum patterns and samples used here, also lots of great fx and countermelodies. Though that does make the tune sound pretty messy and uncomfortable. If you get some more eqing into it (which I think is needed in this tune because there are so many different tracks at the same freqs) and make it sound generally more pleasant, I'm sure this track would be a damn killer.

heyyyy feel free to review my latest tune if you have time yo

DoobyTimePiece responds:

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE thanx sbb

busted :P

you used garageband's circuit dialog and another gb preset, right? but that's okay since I did it myself when I submitted to newgrounds for the first time

really basic and plain, I can't really say I like. I suggest making some instruments yourself, and maybe use another program like Hammerhead to get some drums into there.

good

*looks down at Karco's review*

...I like this song

Thanks :'D. I'm glad you liked it!

yay

I could feel the 4 on the floor pattern coming when I heard the start, so the diversed, heavy drums made me really happay

gongrats, you made me happay too, though most likely not in the way you wanted to

Rig responds:

Oh, but I LOVE making you happy.
;D

welcome to bluegrounds :))
