Great quality in the start. When the vocals came in I didn't think so much about it though. A bit heavy reverb on the vocals, but they sound clear as hell though. Wah-ish guitar is great. Soft drums would be great. A great relaxing tune, a bit monotone though.

There were absolutely no effects on the guitar.
It was an acoustic Morgan steel-string guitar,
with a clip-on mic.

Drums would be cool, but I was asked to
do this performance solo, and so that wasn't an option. =\

some pretty relaxing stuff man, but the rides make it way too stressed. Good improvisation, the piano sounds shitty at the high notes though. I love the little bell chimes. Not a lot to say here about this one.

I like how you actually have somewhat realistic drums here. Unusual for a 'trance' song but whatever. But dude, it's annoying with 16th note kicks, snares and cymbals. Careful with that. the song has some pretty good stuff, like the piano, and the synths (which sound different from what I've heard of other trance songs. pretty good stuff

[PKMN FR/LG: Deoxys battle]

When making a remix you should remove the bad parts... the timing of the bass sucks in the start, both in the original, the midi, and this. Anyways, this is a pretty cool tune to remix, I've done it twice myself.

The only problem I have is the mix. The kick and snare are really hard to hear, so's with the second bass. The bell and main bass drowns out a whole lot. The thin, thin synth playing what is strings in the original is terrible, hard to hear but still hurting ears.

Apart from that you did quite a swell job. I'd love to hear more of the reconant bass, it sounds much cooler than the first one. Good choice of synth and fx, gotta love the bell

I love the title... can't say the same thing about the tune though.

In the intro, the synths are hitting only on the 4th notes- except for a few notes, but they are really hard to hear. Cool kick... for trance, that is. the other drums are pretty catchy and original, sound a bit random though. The kick is too loud compared to the other drums for them to be heard good... they're pretty worthy of showing off

new introduction... long introduction... I like the melody better now. The bass is cool too, has a very retro, analog style to it. But that part is damn repetitive, it's very much the same thing over and over- to add lenght I suppose? It'd be kickass if you added more to these part and changed it up a little.

Bass going solo- verry minimalistic style to that part. It works for a short intro, but it just sounds empty. wait- you add more drums as it comes... it's beginning to get catchy in here, though when you add a single new drum hit each time you focus more on that one drum, which can get annoying after a while, what about like, introducing groups of two drums each time? Introducing the trance pad again. Predictable, but that's cool enough. Now it keeps going on like that for a while, I'm almost about to skip to another part.

Cymbal, then silence, new filter intro with the very same melody. Cool, now you have a royal sounding melody. I love the Americans-ish arp lead. It pretty much climaxes here, which is a very low climax. I could see so much more to this part. Cheap, lazy filter fade out isn't too good

i could really see this being a kickass technotrance epic if it wasn't so repetitive and empty- Some cool supersaw leads and faster drums, more meat on the bone, right? You definatively have a good base song that can be added on

I suck at making trance.. its one of my favorite types of music but i can't write it for shit... My DnB has always been better.. though its still not up to what people want these days.. but i tend not to write jump up.. prefer my drumfunk and stuff like that

I see where you're going... from 0:00 to 0:11 could be when the drunkest boss ever falls down from the sky and makes earthquakes all over the place... then the actual thing loops from 12:00. Because... that tom roll and rapid guitar solo sounds like the world's blowing up in 3972650.65 pieces
