don't you mean....

... heavy metal? Most people think of hardcore as hardcore techno- you know- the crappy BOM BOM BOM BOM techno. If it's made to show that you think the genre sucks- then it's actually pretty well done, lol.

Nice altogether.

The intro is a bit long, but it sounds weird and good. Then the real thing comes, the drums do sound cruncy. Is that a guitar? It souds good, but it's so low and distant in the mix it's kinda hard to hear. Piano chords fit great with the monolouge. That part sounds damn beautiful. I haven't heard the texture in the background anywhere, how did you make that synthish windish thing? Then it moves on picking up the middle part- a bit of a change for the ending would be good though. As I said, nice altogether.

I like this kind of music.

but I, unlike others, don't make reviews based so much on what kind of music I personally like :)

Great ambient stuff here, the drum patterns are awesome, and so are the samples, except for the kick, which sounds kind of... you're not the first to use it. The other samples are out of this world and damn original. the bass has this driving, calm feeling which I love. I want more of the lead, it sounds psychedelic, soaring n stuff. Great work, but make the song longer! It would sound so damn good.

Pretty good

I like how you mix the guitar with other instruments. Though the guitar track could need some better mastering. The pads are good, the marimba, could be louder. Strings are off tune and way high. Drums sound so realistic and warm- great job on them! Overall a good song, but the strings kinda ruin the whole thing

That guitar was a 'fleeting' thing to say the least...in fact...this was a idea that almost didn't become a reality as a storm just blew through here and knocked the power out in the middle of me working on it >.>. Close one...I have pride in my drum sounds (I have really worked at getting good with them :]). Strings are off-tune? =.= that can't be good...I don't know exactly what you mean with the string issue above...but I will listen through the song a couple times to see if I can't find anything.

I will take all that into consideration...including the marimba! (you know your instruments well :D)

Calm, soothing...

A very calm "trance" song- though I would seriously consider this ambient, I see hardly any trance elements. I loved the synths here. The piano, though, could sound much better. The drums are good too, they're pretty hard, but still calm. Also I love the synthFX! You use them pretty damn well. Big 10/10 from me

good!

Though the cliched title, this song is a better one among the lotta shit in the NGAP. I loved the kinda orchestral sounding filtered lead. I wish you had a fltered version of it going while it was on top. Kinda cheerful song, everything sounds happy- Not so sure if it's warm though. The base isn't too good. there's no modulation, effects or anything on it, so it sounds pretty boring. For the drums, you've done a pretty good job for techno/trance/dance drums, a repetitive beat but not only the boring kick-hat-snare-hat pattern

Good job on the song, it'd be nice with a review for my latest audo thing :)

ur right, but im not very experienced yet! only my second song ;)
i'll try some modulationblabla next time hehe :)

gah

It sounds good, but the synths are so cheesy and overused... the acid synth in the last part sounds cool though. You use the fx well, btw, where did you get those? Too bad the parts usually hang verrrry loose together. If you worked on the changes of themes, it would be mad awesome. The drum samples are pretty good. Good overall song but not too impressing

I don't remember, i made this in FL 2 or 3 years ago.. i dont even use FL anymore.. I will see if i can dig up a project file though

sm00th

I notice some clipping-ish thing in the very start, apart from that it's pretty well mastered

The first arpy thingy sounds dreamy, -chilled out and airy. Second noise.like ethingy does too, it adds lots of fill. I like these filtered drums, they fit perfectly into the song. First time I've heard a clap I actually think sounds good :o A yummy pad did well too. Cool beans lead, it has a great base- a bit more diversity would do lots though. Harpish synthie is great, a verrrrrrry overused melody base though

Pretty nice stuff you've done, I don't have anything negative to say about it except you could use a second, deeper bass to fill up the low end. Great stuff, keep it up!

awesome

I love this dark tune. the filtered drums part of it reminds me of Paper Mario, somehow though :P
Choir sounds excellent, tubular bells do to, but they sound a bit high, you need them deeper, and octave lower or something. Strings are great, could use some higher chords for a dramatic effect. Good stuff.

Darknez101 responds:

Now you mention it, It does remind me a little of PM, I completely agree about the Tubulars though, As soon as the peice was rendered they seemed to shoot up in volume, Thanks for the review.

wow :o

this's a quality piece of song. the guitars sound so lively, great melody and riff or whatever work. I like that screaming modulated guitar later on. The drums too, are groovy and snappy

great work!
