I don't really like the voice, sounds unpleasant and 'sharp'- and in the break it just sounds noisy. good thing you didn't use them all over

Gotta love the orchestral work here, though there's not a whole lot of it. Adds more to that dramatic feel. The synths are great too, a bit high pitched, and loud for my taste, drowns the piano out (which sounds pretty damn good in the break). Some of the bass sounds like a kick, don't really like it.

I like the drums, (though I'm not a fan of trancy drums- at all) though one of the snares sound like it's in an entirely different place than the rest of the drum kit.... Flanged/phased snare roll's a yay

A filter outro does the job perfectly fine, though I'd really like to see some fancy climax with the orchestral part, and then a short filter fade but it's an old song so bawrtknjfiyjlkgnrft

Me like

Pretty awesome stuff you've got here man... all the melodies fit so great together, perfect mixing, awesome instruments (the choir impressed me)--- I don't have a lot to say really, great work.

Karbon responds:

Realistic choirs are really hard to find. Voices of the Apocalypse is the only one. Too much money.

Thanks for the review.

cool

I like the small filter thing you do with the first lead. It starts getting a bit chaotic later though. The drums sound pretty damn good. I like the synths you have in here too, nothing bad to comment except you should vary the frequencies more, it sounds a bit muddy

bah

Never heard phoenix wright. What a stupid concept for a game

I like how you did a minimalist start with cheesy synths and bangy drums and changed it to quite an energic tune... orchestra hits, that did damn good. I absolutely love the orchestra hits. Most of your synths sound pretty cheesy- and I really did think the horns were a synth for a while. The FX was cool

A bit crappy choice of synth and instruments but good song nontheless

Mr-Dark responds:

Thanks. I don't have good synths anyway :(

Yup

A bit of a weirdo track you've made here. Truly something I've never heard before- Most drums are good, though the kick is kinda... you know :P I like the noisy short hits, they kinda add to the weird style.

The piano sounds a bit dull... I'll suggest some reverb and EQ boost on the low end. The synths doesn't sound particulary good, but they sure aren't cheesy or unoriginal. Good work on those synths.

Like the tune, but it could use more fill, small amount of reverb dip on the whole track or something.I don't know. Try it out

Thanks, I'll continue to tinker around with how I record things and the effects I can add in after doing so. Hopefully I'll come up with something good.

Thanks for the review.

right

The beat in the start is interesting- way repetitive though. The part with the same riff and drums is a bit long- I'd like to see it develop faster. when it changes up the patterns and melody is great. Smooth change into a calmer theme was pretty fancy. The drums change up pretty much, which is great. I don't really think those vocals were necessary. Pretty good tune, but I'd really like it more if you had more stuff into it

WizardSleeve responds:

aye, it might not even need more stuff if it was shorter, I am working on it..t hanks for the review

Cool

Drums aren't too glitchy... you know- they use to be fast and with a new sample for almost every hit :P Anyways, you did a good job on them. The piano is great too. A very calm, relaxed loop, fits any relaxed scene. Good stuff

Suspended-3rd-Chord responds:

yeah, i guess you right in that sense :) i'm not good at categorizing music, i thought the beat itself sounded a bit glitchy. glad you liked it man, thanks a lot for the listen.

yeeeeeeaaaaah

If this too is made by loops from loops in eJay, then I'm a tiny little bit dissapointed :/ Anyways it's a pretty good mix, though it sounds quite random and not really structured

Doubt it

Doubt it since it's so obvious that you're using 4 loop from GarageBand for the whole song. You laid some nice effects on those loops to make them sound warmer and deeper though. I'm not too impressed.

lol

This sounds soooooooo totally GarageBand :P it really sounds most like you mixed up preset loops and random melodies into a song... I know your secrets, lol.

e-lord responds:

It is garageband... THEY'RE ALL GARAGEBAND! :P

welcome to bluegrounds :))
