The weird percussion stuff and blobby bass in the start made it sound sorta random, but as it moved on it turned into a bit more of awesomeness. The percussion lines you got sound pretty damn great, those snares were maybe a bit high but whatever
Cool saxual intercourse, I felt that, spanish you say, was sorta out of place, but it worked

those drums sound very programmed like, but at least you used some pretty neat samples. I love the fx usage here, really gives it its own style. Did you play that guitar yourself? Cause if you didn't that's the best sampled guitar ever... but it's great if you played it yourself, of course! Great stuff
The drums were done with the DSL soft synth power drum set in ACID Pro. Yes they were midi but real drums don't give the echoy percussive sound I was looking for. As for the guitar riffs, they were recorded by my partner Chris. We're trying to form an industrial band, but right now it's just me and him, got alot of projects in the works though. Thanks for reviewing.

I felt it didn't quit have the same POWER as the original. I mean, you sorta stripped the dynamics and rhytm from it. Other than that, I think you did a pretty swell job remixing it.
Yeah...the rhythm and dynamics of 4:33 are one-of-a-kind - I just couldn't reproduce it. :(

Great use of ethnic instruments! They blend real well with the synths and fx. TONS of fx here, which isn't overwhelming though (and that's good) Again there's this airy frequency slide with the supersaw- nice climaxage you did there. I was thinking about this as being a boring ethnic tune as I saw the title, but I was happily surprised

Very airy tune. Sooo epic composition and structure too. The drums and synths mix greatly. The tiny saw synth in the very middle was sort of a low point in the song, but really my favourite part. Try making it even more straightforward and sharp if you know what I'm trying to saw, and add a louder reverb and it'd be really really awesome.
Anyways, I haven't got too much to say. But it's been favourited

Pretty awesome idea to base a song on a friggin BBS signature... You did a good job with that, though the song isn't too appealing musically wise. Also, wtf, the yiffer sounds like a skinny, gay dog than anything else when it's saying 'yi'
Eh, the things that come about from boredom... Sorry if this sounds suck up-ish but it's an honor having you review my song, even if it is the result of a brain fart and half a days worth of work.
Yeah 2 drum loops and 2 synth instruments on top of my sliced voice, lawl diverse isn't it!
The high pitched "yiff" is the result of me having a deep voice in real life, and overshooting my goal when I said the vocal part.
Either way, it's been a pleasure having you review my result of messing around with my voice and a music program, thanks SBB!

The synth sounds very cheesy to me, but that doesn't matter. The only thing that needs to be fixed up is that weird click sound in the start of the (hardly audible btw, either you eq-ed it at the lower limit of human hearing or it's way too silent) And yes, I also find it very repetitive and unpolished. A fascinating thing about it is how intensely loud it is with the volume all up- I guess you did an awesome job with the eq-ing since it covers tons of frequencies- the con side is that it makes the high end of the synths sound like white noise :/

Hmmm... yeah, that is a problem. I tried to make it as intense as possible - but my theory was that in doing so I somehow ruined it. Reading your review I realized that it is the the eq-ing, as well as some multi-band harmonic exitation I had on the main synth/pads (I.e, as you said, they come off like white noise) Sooo, I'll do some more work on it... try to tone it down (pick a diffrent lead synth, because honestly I can't stand it either) and add some diversity.

I absolutely love it, instant favourite. The mix of vibey rhodes and piano is great, and the (pretty silent) guitar and drums add to the tranquility and mood and that stuff. The vocals really fit well too, great voice and lyrics. I can't really think of anything to improve with this song, wonderful work!

The quiet guitar used to be a lot less quiet - Until I had to modulate the whole thing from E minor to B minor, because I managed to write some impossible vocal lines. After Tamar had a go at me, I had her sing the track to a basic piano mix, and once the vocals were secure, transposed all the synthed and sampled stuff down.
The guitar was the only track at the time that was audio as opposed to individual note samples, and I (proudly) recorded it myself on a converted 1970s acoustic to electric guitar. I didn't have the time to re-record it to fit the deadline (this is coursework for a music course I'm doing) so I bit the bullet and transposed the audio in cubase. This left a few artifacts, so I had to knock the volume down - but it ended up sounding better than it did before.
It also has the side effect of making that guitar riff very, very difficult to play.

The start with fast paced bongos n stuffs fits well, I haven't really heard that being used in dnb and other stuffs like that before. The bass was probably the thing I enjoyed most with this, it sounds sorta analog but still has an interesting and different sound. The other drums ya got are interesting though, though when you phased them you could prolly have phased them a bit more so it sounds like that and not like you just put some weird filter on it. Oh and that alarm/siren/whatever the heck you want to call it, is ace. rvmbckplz

Yeah man I love using bongos a lot, and for this song them being fast fit pretty well.
That bass was a pain in the ass to make lol, I do like the way it turned out though so I do believe it was worth the ffort ;)
On the drums I actually used a flanger, not a phaser lol.
And fuck yes, the siren was epic as hell so I had to use that sample lol
