cheers fella;)
nice
some weird unlogical synth melodies and distortion issues but apart from that it's a pretty good loop. set the volume in the song down to get rid of the distortion. pretty good little loop
thanks, your review is really helpful. i'll consider it next time.
Nice
Sorry that my review wont be half a long as your usual ones, but I don't feel like mentioning every single thing about it right now. Well I'll just start with that the lonely start is pretty cheap sounding, that kick alone juse doesn't sound awesome. When the kick and other drums are playing together it works good though.
The bassline is good too, I love the bass synth you're using... >:( I need some of that bass myself :( The little break with strings n stuff did incredibly well for the track, maybe a bit long, but it doesn't bug me too much. Now that dreamy synth lead comes into it again- and it builds up. Nice going there. The snare you're using in the rolls are a bit thin.
good stuff as always, keep em coming

Nah, it's fine. Any review is nice, especially when this is only the second one since I submitted this. I need to go and review more, and get people to listen to my stuff... :P
The introduction was a failed attempt at a progressive-ish intro. I'll be sure not to pull anything like that again... ;)
I also like the bassline! :D The plain synth came with Nexus, and I went and arped it on the piano roll. I probably added some mild FX to it, too - Fruity Parametric EQ 2 and stuff - but the .flp's a nightmare to open and I'm not going to bother checking. :P
I didn't like the buildup too much. :\ It felt a bit rushed, making it, and if you'll listen to one of the songs that I've linked to in the news post - try Glory, which was the chief inspiration for my buidlup and climax - the buildups sound a LOT better. They've never been my strong point though I'm glad you think it worked! :) Snares tend to be a bit thinner in this genre, but next time I need a snare I'll experiment with other kinds. ;)
I'll definitely stop by your page and listen to your stuff. No guarantees concerning reviews, I hardly ever have that kind of time lately. :( I'll try, though! :D Thanks for stopping by to review.
Coolio
though this really isn't techno at all, it's a pretty cool tune. The choir does sound a bit synth made, but it does sound good though. The filtered little detuned saw thing is cool too. A guitar substitute does sound very synthic, maybe a synth lead would do better justice as it doesn't really emulate anything- I don't know... You're definatively on your way to becoming a great artist, so just keep it up and you'll see lots of awesome stuff coming right out of your program. Great song.

What kind of music would you say it is?
hai
this one's pretty good. Interesting atmosphere in this one- I think I can notice about every drum sample you used, but I don't mind that really. The arp you used is nice too, and the fx and everything all mixes pretty well in the track. I can imagine this going for some alien person cooking a meal in an alien kitchen or something- at least that's the image I get. A bit short maybe, that's it for negatives I can think about

It's pretty obvious when someone use Reason to make a song huh :P ? Thanks for the review, and gave you a review for your most recent song.
Oh yeah
3.75+0.17=3.91 the score now take that
:-D
Still, not a very constructive review. lol
cool
I like the 'whatever they are strings' that go through the song. Oboe sounds like it's panned somewhat to the right? That turns out quite annoying actually. The drums don't fit this kind of music, but they do sound well together with all the string instruments. It has kind of a 'walking' tyle to it, which I like. Great quality and clarity, there's no issues at all with the mastering. Piano sounds much like a cheap soundfont, but it's never very present in this song, so it doesn't matter too much. Great work!

They sound is labeled "woodwinds," and it shouldn't be panned at all. Maybe it was your speakers? I guess the drums are a bit iffy, but it was supposed to be almost a marching song, which you said it seemed to fit. I know that they could have been better, but they turned out better than I epected.
Why don't you like that piano? I thought it was actually a pretty good sound. Maybe the reverb on it made it a bit much though.
Thanks for the review!
well
Might fit as an ambience for some futuristic stuff if it isn't too loud- some reverb would make it much better for it... but except for that there's really no purpose of this audio. it's not really something to listen to
umm ok.

the guitarish thing is really cheap... like a synth or something. Nevermind it. The synths are a bit cheap too, but they work pretty good together. I like the bass you have here, a bit plain but it has a cool sound that would sound awesome with some pitch bendit or whatever. Drums are a bit fast for this tune.. half the speed would sound just as 'heavy' and probaby even more powerful. Just my little suggestion. It's a pretty good remake you've made here, there are still improvements that can be made to make it awesome.

Yup. You bring up some good points I suppose. However, not much I can do with Cakewalk Kinetic. Oh sure, theres Fruity Loops. I think its overused, right now I'm looking at a cool program thats about $270 called Aerospace Audioworks 5 or something like that. I demo-d it. Its awesome. Sounds more realistic, so soon enough.
cool
The piano melody is really simple, and it doesn't sound entirely real with a straightforward rhytm like that... ah, not too much of a biggie. The ethnic percussion is great, I forgot what it's called. can you remind me of what it was? Good little loop you made here. Maybe a flute or some more of the string instrument would do good.
review me back lololol
Why thank you xD
Yeah, I wanted to add some piccolo flute and maybe even some gentle pizzicato sounds, but then I thought keeping it simplistic isn't really that bad xD Maybe I'll build some song on that motif in future.
The drums are called "congas"
