this tune

sounds better when played backwards really

Heil responds:

really

okay

this tune is great it could just need to remove the little noise after the f and you'd be good to go

Heil responds:

yeh

newbcawk

now post the lyrics as I seem to be much better reading lyrics than following them though the lyrics really were clear in this piece. Your voice is good.

Seems to be you with your guitar and a bit of organ. Some slow, low mixed drums would fit good in this

What did you use to create this? Is everything a live recording or what

Great song, great for a first try at lyrics also here's my huge dick

curriemaster responds:

Yo SBB cheers for the review. The lyrics are as follows:

As the moon falls from the sky,
Darkness is amplified
By its passing away.

I can feel your eyes
Hungry, red and wild
You're always asking "Is it today?"

One day I will learn
Not to look him in the eye.
One day he will burn
Though I know he'll never die.

The time to run is near (but)
I cannot show fear to the monster.
He's inside me.

I know the way is clear
I try to persevere
I hope he cannot fight what he cannot see.

One day I will learn
How to look him in the eye.
One day he will burn
Though I know he'll never die.

Its all live recording done with my microphone, a borrowed bass, my guitar, a children's glockenspiel and my voice.

If you want to have a go on the drums for this song, then feel free! I suck at drummage. Just wish my voice was less shaky...ah well thanks for the review mate.

Also, nice dick.

happy happy happy

oh my god that start is so happy and ^______^-ish

This track is interesting, the start was the best part as it had a little more happening than the other, he rest of this song seems really irregular and weird... the super disorted drum patterns gets totally crazey after a while...

Your synth choice is really interesting... the organ, which you seemingly gave no real melody.. a few note progressions with something- it makes it really cool actually :D

this is a really weird track, but I like it a lot! Good work!

attemptedperfection responds:

glad you liked it; irregularity/weirdness is my forte. thanks for the review!

Quite cool

the start is really fast, but I loved how it developed, the synth in the background was really cool. I seriously didn't see the gigantic rave coming in, but it sounds cool. The drums are all good, very nice setup on them. Loved the lead you used later on the song.

The end was great too.

Overall a good song, though short (so is this review >:O).

Envy responds:

The quick start was something I had in mind, as the other version of this song starts off rather slow and boring, and takes a lot out of the song. I'm not totally sure that I like the cutoff on the drums at the very start, perhaps I should have just started low instead of having a few beats that werent cutoff... OH well.

The gigantic rave and the backround synths were perhaps the only thing i really enjoyed from the first chaos sphere... The ravish part, was all I had in mind of remixing, the rest was just gonna be completely original, but the low frequency drumline at the start needed something besides a weak bass to back it up, so I decided to put the original backround melody in there as well, and it worked well... It comes in again during the first bridge, but its hard to hear on account of the loud drums.

It's good to get a good review once and a while from and AF regular!

Respect +1!!!

Thanks for the review ^.^

Quite interesting

This was a really interesting way to put together various voice clips. Liked the way you panned the different voices, which could have made a really awesome surround effect if it was played in a hall. The background music fits the theme perfectly. Great use of effects.

For the negatives, there is some white noise which gets quite annoying after a while. And this isn't really music- more of a soundtrack to something...

OK, this was interesting for sure! Not really something I want to listen to over and over though :/

Bezman responds:

Thanks! Inspired largely by negativland. I wanted to make something that would make people think about Fidel Castro's words and maybe provoke some contemplation.I suppose I'd have to do much more to make it enjoyable 'music'.

I think the white noise is from the spanish-language track. I have no idea how to correct such things or if I could, without altering the sound...

The 'effects' are all achieved by copy/pasting or changing the volumes. Piano work mainly improv.

Glad you liked it and thanks for the reviews! Don't feel obliged to hand out 10s though, if you don't feel it's quite at that standard.

For sure :D

The lyrics are really hard to hear at times, good you posted the lyrics... it's really funny. Could see these lyrics in a weeblike flash...

The rest is quite weird though... the guy in the background is just saying lalalalala in a tempo that is definatively not the same as the actual lyrics...

the can-like things are the same, off-tempo and random... sounds really home-made, but that's a bit of the fun with it :D

Nice... song I think dude, I'm downloading this for the fun value...

Bezman responds:

I didn't realise the lyrics would be perceived as being unclear.

I sorta dropped my spoon whilst making the beats, maybe contributing to the lack of tempo. Also, I started with the lyrics, then added the beats and 'laa laa' afterwards, which wasn't the best way... I should maybe try it another way next time...

I totally want to make a flash with this at some point, but ambitions are nothing if not realised. So much to do...

Thanks for the constructive points & clear explanations. I may rerecord and ask your opinion...

Glad you liked and ta for review!

I know how to!!!

Email me the password, quick! Then I'll change it for you!!

Not entirely true.

Not even a tenth of the songs here are mario remixes... maybe remixes. Most people do it for popularity.

The kick all the time is really a bit annoying. The pad in the start is ok, but sounds like a messed up melody of the original.

The lead thing is seriously off-key.

The next thing is kinda cool though! Like the lead you had in there. The drum work is good here, but it's a bit glitchy and repetitive. did you record your own voice in this or something? Sounds a bit like so. In the end you keep doing the same things and end it off like usual.

What's that noise all the time? sounds liike it's done on an old film record.

Ok good work on this! I enjoyed it.

DjHyperCouch responds:

Yeah I noticed the wierd glitches when I uploaded this, I will come out with the remastered version at a later, as for the ammount of remixes of mario on here, I was being overdramatic, but there are quite alot you have to agree. Thanks for the High rating!

Great!

This is quality music

LJCoffee responds:
